Banyan Trees
Students use black paint to draw the trees. Oil pastels are used for the sky. Reflection mirrors have been used to make the reflection in the water.

Zen tangle
This is my first zentangle. Took about 2 hours to complete. Thinking it will be a good 4th or 5th grade lesson. Definitely something you can do in secondary too. The possibilities of zen tangles are endless and they can be as easy or detailed as you want it.

Bean Masks
I learned this lesson from a colleague she made a few of her own in her house and hung them in her living room. I've done this project with students in 4th-7th grade and they all have a great time. I have been told that this is one of their favorite projects.

Printmaking
These were created on foam board. This is so much better than the foam sheets. My 5th graders always tell me this is their most favorite project. They carve their organic shapes using a stylus and then print it on construction paper.
Ocean Mural
This mural was done with my 5th graders. They worked in small groups. We had so much fun! Some of the fish are not complete in the pictures.
