Zen tangle

This is my first zentangle. Took about 2 hours to complete. Thinking it will be a good 4th or 5th grade lesson. Definitely something you can do in secondary too. The possibilities of zen tangles are endless and they can be as easy or detailed as you want it.

This is a self portrait done by a 9th grader. He was so proud of it when it was finished. When his mom saw it, she started screaming with excitement because she couldn't believe he did this. She was already picking the place on the wall she was going to hang it.
