Art show

I created two virtual art shows this year for my two schools for  the 5th graders. I didn’t want them to leave Elementary School without having an Art Show their last year. My classes were completely virtual the entire year due to the pandemic.

Mondrian Classroom Door

I used window crayons to create a Piet Mondrian door. My second graders love pointing it out when we do our Mondrian lesson

Birds of Color

I found this lesson from a teacher on Pinterest. My first graders learned the primary and secondary colors and turned them into birds.

Pencil Shaving Art

This is a great recyclable art project. I did this with some of my students in an after school program. They used the pencil shavings from colored pencils. It kept my colored pencils nice and sharp!!!
